HautKompass® wins 3rd Place in the BVDD Innovation Award 2026

The Professional Association of German Dermatologists (BVDD) also announced the BVDD Innovation Award for 2026. The aim of the award is to help shape the future of outpatient dermatological care in Germany and to highlight its positive impact on patient care.

The top three projects were selected and nominated by an expert jury consisting of representatives of the BVDD and dermatology experts. This was followed by an online vote among all dermatologists to determine the final ranking.

The award ceremony took place on February 28, 2026, in Leipzig as part of “DERMATOLOGIE kompakt + praxisnah.” On this occasion, HautKompass® was awarded 3rd place.

DDG Poster Award – Disorders of the Pigmentary System – 2nd Prize

Juliane Traxler wins the 2nd prize with her poster “Effectiveness of the Online Program HautKompass® in Reducing Self-Stigmatization in People with Chronic Skin Diseases – A Randomized Controlled Trial.” The award ceremony took place as part of “DERMATOLOGIE kompakt + praxisnah” on February 28, 2026, in Leipzig.

HautKompass receives special award “Patient Empowerment” at the MSD Health Award 2025

MSD annually awards the Health Award ("MSD Gesundheitspreis") to projects that improve patient care in Germany.

A jury of healthcare experts nominated 10 projects from over 40 applications, including HautKompass (an online program for mental health in chronic skin diseases).

The awards ceremony took place on October 14 as part of the MSD Health Forum in Munich, where we received the special award "Patient Empowerment" and had the opportunity to network with other award winners and representatives from the healthcare sector.
